The next released version of jv16 PowerTools will contain a new, updated user interface look.

a much needed, i think, update... we got the great icons lately, and a new UI was needed.

Great job..

It would be nice to see the main screen also :)

The new user interface will be included to the next released version which should be out in this week.

The screenshot in the first post in this thread refers to "version 1.7.0.400."

The screenshot of the Main Window looks exactly like the Main Window of the previous version 1.7.0.399 :

I guess luish hadn't seen that Main Window yet?

So, please tell me: what's new in the "new" User Interface? :?

I too see no significant difference (except for in the menu bar). It still looks as nice as it did in RC3 ... :)

It's actually a lot different, notice the caption bar of the window, and the buttons and the progress bar on the Tutorial screen.

Right, in the Quick Tutorial window -- that is a nice improvement. I (and also redseujac, I think) was referring to the main window.

Here's what I believe is a minor omission in the text that appears after running Registry Cleaner. I keep noticing it.

Currently:

"5 registry errors (1 keys and 11 entries), 5 keys and 1 of leftover data, 0 keys and 0 entries of unneeded data."

Should be (?):

"5 registry errors (1 keys and 11 entries), 5 keys and 1 entries of leftover data, 0 keys and 0 entries of unneeded data."

I did not count the characters (seems to be less than 256 :? ), but the following (from English.lng) is why that happens:
//Note: The following line cannot exceed 255 characters even with the {1}'s filled with numbers! Otherwise it will not be fully visible. This is a restriction of Windows, not jv16 PowerTools.

31={1} registry errors ({2} keys and {3} entries), {4} keys and {5} of leftover data, {6} keys and {7} entries of unneeded data.
Looks like the word "entries" is missing after {5} ...

Yeah, this will be fixed in the next version. I noticed the same issue myself and fixed it yesterday.

Well, even though it's a "Trial Version", it doesn't have the "x Days Left". Other than that, I see nothing different that would make any difference to me. lol
