DEBUG listings under "Installed Software"?

I have 80+ DEBUG entries listed under the AUTHOR column in INSTALLED SOFTWARE. Most seem to be DEBUG *.dll files but a lot are DEBUG *.ax files.

I'm running Windows XP PRO.

Can someone tell me what they are and can they be removed?

The jv16 PowerTools 2005 doesn't show that kind of debug entries under any circumstance by itself so I think the data is coming from the registry.

In other words, I suspect some program has filled your registry with such entries. But I would recommend you to use Windows RegEdit to verify this matter.
