Hello together,

I have used the Registry Finder to find a REG_BINARY-Value in HKLM, but

he brings nothing.

Make I an issue or can the Registry Finder this not?

As far as i know it can only find STRING values.

Unless you convert the binary data to the string values you can't search for it.

It mabye would be a cool feature if it could btw.

BlackDex is correct, the RegFinder can only search for string, multi string and dword types of data.

Convert in strings seems to be a solution for my problem, but when I´m

searching for a binary value, I do not know, where he is and so I cannot

convert him. It is a snake, which bites her own tail.

Well i tested it out, but converting isn't a sullution.

Becouse it doesn't search those values.

I have still another problem with the Registry Finder:

The results of Registry Finder I can print or store in a list.

But in both stand only the keys. The names, the values and the last

change are absent.

This is not good, then they give many information.

Can you say, what I must do to print or to store all informations the

Registry Finder have found?

I think the problem with the saving the data is already fixed, I fixed one bug that could cause this from the upcoming version. It should be released within a few months.

The priting feature of the current version doesn't work very well on lists of large amounts of data, such as the Registry Cleaner or Finder. I will be improving that too for the next version.
