I've just installed JV16 on my new Vista pc (previously running fine on my XP pc). The Registry cleaner does not seem to work correctly & despite removing bad entries, if I scan again, most of the entries are still there.
I read about clicking "Run as Admin", but this doesn't seem to work for me. If I right-click the JV16 desktop shortcut & click "Run as admin", nothing happens.
System:
Vista32 Business clean install
ISA 2004 Firewall, Nod32, SuperAntiSpyware Pro
Connected to 2003 domain server
User has pc admin rights
Vista UAC turned off
Update:
Figured out the run as admin thing, it has to be done from the start menu, not the desktop shortcut. However, I'm still getting the same thing, I run a scan, delete the entries, run a scan again & the entries are still there.
