running the Software Manager, the list of installed software shows a product called :

Application Libraries Log, author : Ariad

Installation Path : N/A

Main Executable : N/A

what is that?

Do a google search on ariad and Application Libraries Log -- I got about 6 hits in 4 or 5 languages ...

of course i did a google search on ariad and Application Libraries Log,

before posting my question, but none of the hits was useful.

it is very strange that the only tool able to list the Application Libraries Log

as installed product is jv16 power tools.

i checked with CCleaner, with Spybot S&D, with Easy cleaner, and with

Add or Remove Programs ..none of the above tools discover the

Application Libraries Log..

so i have no idea...

I think Ariad is a component used by CDBurnerXP Pro. At least, I have an "Ariad" entry in the Software Manager and is related to this software.
