registry cleaning will not start or stops

Since short registry cleaner under version 2006 hangs or stops. The problem is HKLM.

I have tried again version 1.4 and 2005 Those gave no problem. I have tried to install 2005 over 1.4 and 2006 over 2005, 2006 still would not work or hang in the "middle" due to HKLM.

I now use again 2005.

What could caused that problem??

Does this happen every time you run it? If I would do you a special version of jv16 PowerTools 2007, would you be interested in testing it to help me to locate and fix the problem?
