Why internet access?

When I want to run a scan with Registry Cleaner (I have only trial version), it attempts to access the internet. Would someone tell me please, whether this should happen, and if so, why does the program need such access?

When you start using a new program, it's much recommended to view the settings first.

Here you'll find them under File > Settings.

There you'll see a tab Network Features ... read it!!!

As jepe wrote, you'll find everything about it in the Handbook ... read it!!!
