Software Manager just stopped working. It has been ok before today.

It scans and finds nothing.

XP pro sp2 no new software changes of other programs.

No new installed software that would affect jv16

Did reinstall, but same problem.

Other parts of program DO work.

This may be the same random bug described below. As far as I know, the cause has not yet been identified.

Software Manager -- on a few PCs, shows a blank list every time -- present in PT 2006 v.1.5.2.336 through PT 2006 v.1.5.2.338

Thanks. The newest version was running ok. On another machine 338 works ok.

Any place to get older version ? I deleted them once the newer ones were working

I have a zipped copy of the 335 installer. Put an address in my PM and I'll send it.

This is a long shot, but it has happened before, so it is worth a check.

Use notepad to look at the file "SuperSoftwareIgnoreList.dat" in the "Settings" directory. These are the "Never show again" items.

Since "Mark item as " and "Never show again" are right next to each other in the right click context menu, it is possible to inadvertantly click the wrong one. And if you had done a "Select all" getting ready to mark all as old, ...
