Downloaded JV16 2006 w/older license. What are my options

I have been a licensed user of JV16 Powertools for many years. I purchased a license back in June 2004. My old version was jv16 1.4. Will I have to purchase a full license for jv16 2006? Thanks in advance . . . :(
