I’ve been using what is now JV 16 Power Tools for many years. Quite some time ago, I decided to make it the only “registry cleaner” on my computer. The 5 May release has cured the initiation problem on my system. I use JV 16 PT mainly for “computer hygiene”. When I ran the reg. cleaner (aggressive mode) in a new release a few days ago, I was “shocked” that it came up with over 4,000 entries ranging from highest to lowest severity (I had run a “rubbish clearing” application before running JV 16 PT). I didn’t study the list of entries then, simply hit “select all” and “remove” (with a backup) – for safety’s sake, I think I should stress that this was “stupid”. Directly after the removal (and still now), my computer, which has always behaved well, had an unmistakeable extra little zing. This has been a very pleasant surprise. Have now studied the list of removed entries and removed the backup. As is probably clear from the foregoing, I rate JV 16 PT extremely highly.
