Registry Cleaner fails to remove when data type is nonstandard
Forum member mokki had items that correctly showed as "File or directory "path\filename" does not exist" type errors in Registry Cleaner. The items always reappeared in RC rescans even though repeated RC Remove/Fix actions appeared to remove them.
Perhaps the failure to remove was due to the items' nonstandard data type (e. g., 0x37c) -- see regedit screenshots.
The items were successfully removed using regedit.

UPDATE: apparently Reg Cleaner can remove this kind of item if you specify no backup. It can not currently create this kind of backup. Check here, and the page 2 continuation ...
