RegSupreme Pro with a jv16 PowerTools 1.4 license file?

Does the jv16 PowerTools 1.4 license file still supposed to work with RegSupreme Pro?

(because it doesn't, at least not by putting the License.dat in RegSupreme Pro\Data)

Also note that you can use the RegSupreme Pro under the same license as jv16 PowerTools 1.4, just copy your license file to RegSupreme Pro's Data folder and you'll also have a full version of RegSupreme Pro

since the 05.04.2005 update only say "Added a support for jv16 PowerTools 2005's licenses" and there is no other license related item in the changelog i believe it should support the 1.4 licenses, should it?

I moved the License & related files around to find the only combination that works with my copy of RS Pro.

There are three files involved:

(1) License.xbin

(2) data.xbin

(3) Default License.xbin

(1) goes in the main RS Pro folder (e.g., "C:\Program Files\RegSupreme Pro" on my PC). It can also be put in the Data subfolder, but gets copied to the first location during license validation.

(2) goes in the Data subfolder. License validation fails if it is not there. I think it is originally put there during the install procedure.

(3) I found this is not needed (it's probably an old trial license).
