Upgrade from Version 2005 -> 2006

Simple question:

How do i have to upgrade from JV-Power-Tools 2005 to Version 2006?

Should i install into the old directory?

Which price do i have to pay (one-user-pc)?

Hi Assimilate,

Yes you can install in the old directory and the upgrade - of course if you do have a valid license for PT 2005 - is free of charge.

And you can use PowerTools also, with the same license, on up to five PC's at your home and used by you or members of your family, like your notebook.

I will install the new version into the old directory.

I think the upgrade leaves a jv16 PowerTools 2005 folder under the Windows folder that is no longer needed.

Thanks for the reply.

I installed jv16 2006 to C:\Utilities\jv16 PowerTools folder, same as where I had installed 2005. The old, "second" jv16 PowerTools 2005 folder had been created under C:\Windows and seemed to only contain the uninstall files for 2005. I deleted it with no problems.
